Import Prices Rose 1.9% in April, Export Prices Up 3.3%


Washington, DC, May 14, 2026-U.S. import prices increased 1.9% in April, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported, following a 0.9% rise in March. 

Higher prices for fuel imports and nonfuel imports drove the advance in April. Prices for U.S. exports advanced 3.3% in April, after rising 1.5% the previous month.
